About this course
This course explains how Islamic finance addresses familiar needs such as saving, financing, investing and raising capital through Shariah-compliant contracts. It compares Islamic and conventional finance without presenting either label as a substitute for understanding the actual contract. Learners examine the source of return, ownership and risk, common contracts, financial products, Pakistan's institutional setting, Shariah governance and the questions to ask before entering a transaction.
